Meet The In Real Life Bryce Quinlan, Lunanthians It Girl!

The journey of bringing Bryce to life

The fun part of this journey was that both editors of Romantasy have gotten to see the journey and development of B’s platform as they have been long-time followers of her. Bringing Bryce to life came out of reading Crescent City. It was like looking in a mirror, about bringing Bryce into the real world, the world with us. While the page started out as more of a “character page,” it turned into more because who Bryce is also is who I am.

The thing about Bryce that really sticks out is her attitude. Bryce is beyond unapologetic, if she doesn't like you - you will know it. She knows what she wants and who she is. B loves how unapologetically herself she is, whether she does the right things or not and let's not forget the spicy-ness that just is Bryce.

“We often hear and are told, ‘Women are meant to be seen not heard.’ The thing about Bryce though is that she is often heard before she is seen.”

Not only has the platform of lunathiansitgirl been extremely freeing and empowering, but it has created so many opportunities to explore past passions, but also to find some new ones. One of the biggest opportunities has been singing, which Bryce isn’t known for. B has had new opportunities come into her real life from singing that started as a just-for-fun passion again. One of the most fun opportunities that has come out of the account has just been the ability to find new passions, to explore who she is what she loves, and what will bring her joy. And full disclosure, “No, absolutely not, I never expected for my page to blow up. In fact, I expected the same response that I had received in life, nothing.”

From the Editors: We have loved seeing how lunathiansitgirl has brought the character of Bryce to life. We got to talk a lot with B about how empowering she is. Trying new things is not always easy; it is scary, there are learning curves, there is imposter syndrome, and fear of failure. Having followed B’s journey for a while it has been incredibly encouraging and empowering to see her journey. While her content creation journey is impressive, it is how authentically and loudly she is herself, which is just like Bryce. While there are boundaries in place regarding her real name, she is sharing so many pieces of herself with us still. B is a joy, her story times, the theories that she has, the way she lives her life fully, with creativity, with grace, and with joy. It is an honor to follow her journey and get to talk to her about all the special projects she has in store for us.

One of the most empowering things that came out of interviewing Bryce, was not even how humble she was, but how brutally honest she is. It truly felt like we were getting to sit down with Bryce Q herself. One of the most surprising things was discussing support in this community, how B never expected her content to blow up and become what it is today and who she is. The reality is, that like so many, she struggled with finding her identity and never expected it to blow up. Every time content blew up or went somewhere, there was this need to run away, to flee. There was this expectation of negative comments, but everyone was always so nice. B says, “It was odd,  when people left negative comments it felt right, the negative comments fired me up, they lit a beacon, it’s weird but the negativity is what fuels me.”

Talking the CC short series with Bryce

There is so much to bring to life. While this account and the episodes started off just for me, it became something that I did for this community too.

There are so many things to come from the short series. While B says she can’t do everything, she does have this ability to try to learn everything if it is something that she is truly passionate about. In series B stars, directs, edits, and everything else in between, and no, she had never done any of this before. Some of the biggest learning curves came from studying everything she watched, going through screenplays, figuring out the flow of dialogue, and determining flow. As each scene and episode has been created and put out into the world, something has been learned and developments have been made.

Exclusive content on Episode 3, which is set to release in mid-October, will feature the largest cast to date and feature: Bryce, Danika, Connor, Thorne, Nathalie, and Bronson. Finding the characters, especially Connor, which was an actual manhunt. “Beggars can’t be choosers,” everyone is volunteering their time to bring this to life, but there is still a need and pressure to do it all right. Filming for Episode 3 takes place on September 20th and 21st, with two scenes that are going into Episode 3. “There is so much story to be told and it just flows,” B mentions of bringing it together.  A little and very giddy hint that B gives in Episode 3 is, “You might see a younger Bryce and a flashback to her younger.” Trust us, this was giving us giddy anticipation in the wait for Episode 3.

the in-real-life book boyfriend

“Dev is beyond supportive, always saying, ‘do it’, and just very sweet.”

We all know and recognize B’s in-real-life book boyfriend, Dev, but coined Hunt Athalar online. Dev has slowly appeared more and more on her socials, beginning with the “Hunts Home Movies”, which we will continue to see more of. When asked how Dev supports the platform and how it has impacted their relationship, B says, “The impacts have been so positive he helps expand her ideas, and is so supportive.” Dev is a cinematographer and films all of her content, none of this would be possible without him, Not only does he film the content, but he is also willing to go through all the scenes, and the shot list, he gives her peace of mind in bringing this to life. When a location for Episode 3 fell through, Dev went out of his way to reach out to friends to find a new location for it to be filmed in to not change the plans and timelines.  B goes on to stay how lucky she is to have Dev and that, “he is never getting away from him”. B really did find her in-real-life book boyfriend and we are so excited to see what magic they continue to make together.

Starting and doing the prequel series is for me and is what I love doing and I want to continue to try and give as much to it as I can. It just means everything.
